| Pirtuk is a protective nature spirit sympathetic to the needs of inhabitants of cold regions. When the ice and snow and bitter cold threaten, he is the spirit of warmth, fireplaces, and hot chocolate. Look for him hiding in the woods amongst the snowy branches and dead leaves. When the temperature goes below zero, you can sometimes hear him cracking his staff against the trees to remind them that there is still life above ground.
Pirtuk is 6 1/2" tall and dressed in furs, feathers, woolens and beads. He carries a green and silver staff with a hot weather animal totem attached. His furry mukluks are decorated with semi-precious stones.
